Jamie Lawless is the Co-Founder and CEO of LendWell, the award-winning AI mortgage origination platform that replaces outdated, manual-heavy processes with intelligent automation, cutting application times by over 80%. With a background in Investment Banking and Private Equity, Jamie began his career on Société Générale’s Real Estate Structured Finance and Credit Desk in London before moving into Real Estate Private Equity, where he worked on securitising large pools of residential and commercial mortgages.

That experience exposed him to the fundamental inefficiencies in mortgage data, where high error rates and fragmented systems undermined underwriting, risk pricing, and investor confidence. Determined to solve the root cause, Jamie founded LendWell to build the unified platform the industry was missing; one that brings together all of a client’s financial data in a single system.

Under his leadership, LendWell has since been recognised as the winner of the Bank of Ireland Mortgage Innovation Challenge and was admitted into Nvidia’s Inception programme, underscoring both its industry impact and its position at the forefront of applied AI. He is recognised as a leading voice on how agentic AI will transform not only mortgages, but the wider property and financial services sectors.
